What is Transcription?
Transcription is the process of converting spoken audios or videos such as interview recordings, webinars or movies into written languages.
An accurate transcript brings various benefits to your company and your audience:
- Make your content accessible to a wider range of audiences.
- Easily edit and reuse transcribed content for other purposes such as marketing or further research.
- Help your audience do a quick search for a specific piece of information.
Our Transcription Services

With Full Transcription (also called Strict Verbatim Transcription), we listen and write down exactly what we hear, without making any edits. All spoken words, background noise, utterances (“uh”, “mm-hmm”, “you know”, etc.) or grammar mistakes are transcribed in written format.
We recommend using full transcription for interaction and discourse inspection purposes such as behavioural research or legal proceedings.

Transcription with timestamping
Along with writing down spoken words and sounds, our transcribers insert timestamps at the beginning of a dialogue or a paragraph. Our standard format for timestamps is [HH:MM:SS] with HH, MM, SS are hours, minutes, and seconds where the spoken words start.
Transcription with timestamps is commonly used for legal dispositions, market research or long audio/video, making it easy to playback a specific part.
